ACE provider approval
ACE provider approval evaluates organizations for their ability to provide high-quality course offerings for social work continuing education credit.
Program features
- Providers may develop and offer courses in all approved formats without submitting individual courses for review.
- Providers may make changes to courses as needed, as long as the course still meets ASWB ACE standards and requirements.
- New providers are approved for one year; approval is renewable in three-year increments.
Key requirements for provider approval
- A licensed social worker must serve as the provider’s social work consultant for the entire program and each course.
- Courses may only be offered in formats for which the provider has been approved.
- CE providers must pay a one-time US$25 prequalification fee.
- Providers pay an application fee of US$500 (or more), based on the number of courses or conference sessions they would like to offer during the approval period.
ACE individual course/conference approval
Individual course/conference approval evaluates individual courses and conference sessions and approves them for licensees to earn continuing education credit.
