Committees
The success of ASWB greatly depends on the volunteers who serve on our committees and task forces. In general, committee members are members or staff of social work regulatory boards and donate their time to ASWB in addition to their board commitments.
ASWB member account
Member boards, staff, and volunteers may log into their ASWB account to register for ASWB meetings and trainings, review any existing registrations, and update contact information in the ASWB system. Your username is your email. ASWB will be transitioning to a new account management platform over the summer, so look for more information this year! If you have questions contact veo@aswb.org.
Elected leadership
Each year at the ASWB Annual Meeting of the delegate assembly, delegates vote for individuals to serve on ASWB’s Board of Directors and Nominating Committee.
2024 Elections
Delegates will elect six Board of Directors members and three Nominating Committee members in 2024.
Exam updates
We’re excited to launch a comprehensive set of initiatives to update our exam development approach while maintaining our commitment to DEI throughout the process.

Events
Each year ASWB hosts numerous meetings, both in person and online, to conduct the association’s business, offer specialized training for our members, and provide networking opportunities for social work regulators.
